DAY 1: Wednesday, May 22, 2013 - Depart Raleigh Durham Airport for Washington Dulles and connect to a nonstop flight to Johannesburg, South Africa. M

DAY 2: Thursday, May 23, 2013 - Arrive at Johanesburg and meet our guide to transfer to our hotel.  There will be a "welcome to South Africa" dinner this evening in the hotel. MD

DAY 3: Friday, May 24, 2013 - We will devote our entire day to a visit to Kwaza School.  Dinner and overnight Johannesburg. BD

DAY 4: Saturday, May 25, 2013 - Today we will tour Soweto which is estimated to be inhabited by over 2 million people.  Homes here range from affluent mansions to make-shift shacks.  Soweto residents belong to 9 different ethnic groups with Zulus and Xhosas predominating.  We will attend the Lesedi Cultural Show which includes African dancing and lunch.  We will see the former home of Nelson Mandela which is now a museum and visit the site where the children were massacred during the battles against apartheid.  We will visit the Apartheid Museum and the Pieterson Museum before returning to our hotel.  Dinner and overnight Johannesburg. DAY 5: Sunday, May 26, 2013 - We will join the morning services at St. Peter and St. Paul Anglican Church at Springs and then travel toward Pretoria, the capital of South Africa.  We will visit the Voortrekker Museum, the Ndebele Village and the former home of Paul Kruger.  We will see some of the Union Buildings and some of the many embassies before returning to our hotel in Johannesburg for dinner and overnight. BD

DAY 6: Monday, May 27, 2013 - We will fly from Johannesburg to Nelspruit Airport where we meet our driver and transfer to Kruger Lodge within Kruger National Park.  There will be a late afternoon game drive in the park in the open four wheel drive vehicles with a certified guide before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight. BD

DAY 7: Tuesday, May 28, 2013 - An early morning game drive where we will continue our search for the “Big Five” - elephant, rhinoceros, leopard, lion and the Cape buffalo.  We will have a boxed lunch while out on our safari and will continue our game drive in the afternoon.  We will return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. BD

DAY 8: Wednesday, May 29, 2013 - We will have breakfast in our hotel and then return to Nelspruit Airport where we board our flight to Cape Town.  Upon arrival, we will meet our driver and guide and transfer to our beautiful Cape Town hotel where we will have some free time to explore the waterfront before dinner and overnight in Cape Town. BD

DAY 9: Thursday, May 30, 2013 - Today we will take a ferry from the waterfront to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for nearly two decades.  Robben Island is the equivalent of Alcatraz.  Your guide will be a former political prisoner who served time on the island.  We will visit the South African Museum in the afternoon and have dinner and overnight in Cape Town. BD

DAY 10: Friday, May 31, 2013 - Today we will tour the Cape Peninsula.  We will depart for the Cape of Good Hope and drive along one of South Africa’s most scenic and popular routes.  We will see Seal Point and visit Hout Bay and enjoy the dramatic views from Chapman’s Peak.  Then it is on to Cape Point where by tradition two marine ecosystems and oceans meet.  We will take the funicular to the top and view the meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. We will visit Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and drive through the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.  We will explore Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, world renowned for their beauty and dedicated to the preservation of the indigenous plants of South Africa before returning to our Cape Town hotel.  Dinner and overnight Cape Town. BD

DAY 11: Saturday, June 1, 2013 - We will explore the beautiful Winelands of South Africa today.  During our explorations, we will visit two wine cellars and have two wine tastings.  We will return to our hotel in Cape Town where we will have a “farewell to South Africa” dinner this evening. BD

DAY 12: Sunday, June 2, 2013 - We will attend early morning services at the Cathedral Church of St. George the Divine, the oldest Anglican Church in South Africa, and then transfer to the airport for our overnight return flight to the USA. BM

DAY 13: Monday, June 3, 2013 - We will arrive back in the USA at Dulles International Airport.  After clearing customs, we will transfer to our flight to Raleigh Durham arriving back this morning. M

Price: $4,659.00.  Pricing based on a minimum of 10 pilgrims.  Price based on double occupancy and includes fuel surcharges and taxes of $676.40 and may change.   Roundtrip air from Raleigh Durham Airport.  Air transportation available from other cities.  Single supplement costs $699.00.

Deposit of $300.00 per person due with application.

Cancellation Penalties
◊ Until February 14, 2013:  $100.00 per person plus unrecoverable fees.
◊ February 15, 2013 or later:  NO REFUND

An application for travel insurance will be included with the receipt for your deposit.  We strongly recommend that you seriously consider this coverage.
